Vacancy: A total of 1,340 Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) posts have been announced
Apply Online: Registration opened on 30 June and closes on 21 July 2025 (up to 11:00 PM). Fee payment deadline is 22 July
Correction Window: From 1–2 August 2025, candidates can make corrections to their application
Exam Schedule:
- Paper-I (CBT): Scheduled tentatively from 27–31 October 2025
- Paper-II: To be held between January and February 2026
- Eligibility: Candidates must hold an engineering degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines, and meet the age criteria (18–32 years, with relaxations)

Register & Apply
- Complete SSC One Time Registration (OTR) if not done already.
- Log in at ssc.gov.in and apply before 11 PM on 21 July 2025.
- Pay the fee by 22 July.

Use 1–2 August to correct any mistakes in your application.
Prepare Strategically
Focus on Paper-I topics: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and Technical subjects. Then shift to detailed subject-wise preparation and optional Paper-II.
Admit Cards & Exam
Download admit cards before October. Take Paper-I (late Oct) and Paper-II (early 2026).

How to Apply
- Register or log in through One-Time Registration (OTR) on ssc.gov.in.
- Complete the Part-I application form (personal, academic, stream, preferences).
- Upload scanned documents: Photograph (20–50 KB, 3.5 × 4.5 cm), Signature (10–20 KB).
- Pay fee (if applicable); submit the application.
- Download/print the confirmation page
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Paper-I (CBT) – 2 hours; total 200 marks
- General Intelligence & Reasoning – 50 Qs, 50 marks
- General Awareness – 50 Qs, 50 marks
- General Engineering – 100 Qs, 100 marks
Paper-II (CBT – Descriptive) – 2 hours; 300 marks
- Subject-specific Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
Candidates qualifying both move to Document Verification, technical/backlog processes. Final merit adds Paper-I + II marks.
